Free for funeral homes — forever

Every name. Every memory.
Ready before the family leaves.

Guestbook.Memorial replaces the paper register with a digital guestbook guests sign from their own phone — or from any iPad you set on a stand. Complete, legible records with mailing addresses, plus memories, photos, video, and voice recordings in a guestbook that stays open forever.

✓ No hardware to rent ✓ No contracts, no per-case fees ✓ Nothing for guests to download

Three steps. Sixty seconds of setup.

1

Create the guestbook

Enter the loved one’s name and service details. You instantly get a printable QR poster, program insert cards, and a kiosk link.

2

Guests sign — their way

From their own phone via the QR code, on any iPad or tablet you set out in kiosk mode, or from anywhere in the world with the remote link. Name, address, relationship — and a memory or photo if they’d like.

3

Everything is ready — instantly

The moment the service ends: a printable register, pre-addressed acknowledgment envelopes, mailing labels, CSV export, and a private keepsake page for the family.

Digital guestbooks are normally a monthly subscription with per-service fees on top, and the acknowledgment printing is billed separately again. This has none of that. We think the guestbook should never have been a profit center.

What’s waiting when the service ends

No processing time. No “we’ll mail it to you.” Print it in the office before the family drives home.

The register

An elegant, printable record of every guest — name, relationship, address — typeset like a book, not a spreadsheet.

Pre-addressed envelopes

Acknowledgment envelopes print pre-addressed to every guest who left an address. #10 envelopes, straight from your office printer.

Mailing labels

Avery 5160-compatible label sheets, if the family prefers labels.

Acknowledgment cards

Printable cards with a memorial verse the family chooses — or their own words.

Thank-you drafts

A first draft for each note, referencing what that guest wrote. The family edits every word and signs by hand.

The living keepsake

A private page with every memory, photo, video, and voice recording — never closes, so family and friends keep adding on birthdays and anniversaries.

CSV export

Your data is yours. One click exports everything to a spreadsheet for your case management system.

Kiosk mode

Open one link on any iPad, tap fullscreen, set it by the door. Big type, gentle pace, resets itself between guests.

Guests don’t just sign.
They remember.

A paper register captures a scribble. Guestbook.Memorial invites every guest to leave the story only they know — written, photographed, on video, or spoken aloud in their own voice. And the book never closes: a year later, an old friend can still scan the family’s keepsake card and add the story they wish they’d told at the service.

Why is it free?

Guestbook.Memorial is built by the team behind Funeral AI, tools that help independent funeral homes serve families with excellence. The guestbook is our introduction: use it with every family, forever, at no charge. If you love it, we’d be honored to show you what else we’re building. That’s the whole arrangement.

Questions funeral directors ask

Is it really free? What’s the catch?

Really free, for unlimited services, forever. No credit card at signup, no per-case fees, no contract. We build paid software for funeral homes under the Funeral AI name — the guestbook is how we earn the right to introduce ourselves. More here.

What do guests need to sign?

Nothing but a phone camera — the QR code opens a simple page, no app, no account. Guests without phones use the tablet kiosk, or staff can add names afterward in seconds.

We don’t own an iPad. Can we still use it?

Yes — the QR poster alone works beautifully. Any tablet, Chromebook, or laptop can run kiosk mode; many homes use one they already have at the arrangement desk.

Who owns the data? Is it private?

You and the family. Guest records belong to your funeral home and export to CSV any time. The family’s keepsake page is a private link — never public, never indexed, never sold or used for advertising. Privacy policy.

Does the family see the guestbook?

Yes — you share one private keepsake link with the family. They see every name, memory, and photo, and can print a memory book. They never need an account.

What about guests who can’t attend?

The same link works from anywhere — share it in the obituary or on social media and out-of-town friends can sign and leave memories remotely, before or after the service.

Does the guestbook close after the service?

Never. The guestbook is a permanent online memorial: printable keepsake QR cards let the family share it at the reception or frame it at home, and anyone with the link can add written, photo, video, or voice memories on anniversaries, birthdays, or whenever a story surfaces.

What can guests share besides their name?

A written memory, photos, video, and voice recordings made right in the browser — no app. Every entry goes privately to the family’s keepsake page, and the funeral home can hide anything inappropriate.
